Prior to this slow but steady growth, The University of Nigeria Nsukka, thinks they can also contribute to that growth and empower more Nigerian youths by Announcing a laptop Assembly plant located in the University with a brand name of LION LAPTOP.
The LION LAPTOP is brand assembled at University of Nigeria Nsukka assembling plant located in the university’s campus. The assembling plant aims to produce about a 100,000 laptops a year and to make laptops(LION LAPTOP) affordable to the Nigerian students and other people in general.
Aside that, the Assembling plant is also set to reduce unemployment and as an avenue for the engineering to acquire the practical world skills/techniques.
Although much as not been said about the specs and prices of the laptop but from the banner uploaded, it can be seen that the first set is likely to to be 15inch screen, with a 500HDD coupled with a 2/4GB of ram loaded with a windows 10 OS(operating system). Its believed that as the brand gains more popularity, these specs are likely to change.
